A fusion of Acoustic-Rock with Electric-Blues.
Soul Saboteur was formed by singer/songwriter James Stone and comprises Stone (Vocals & Acoustic Rhythm Guitar), Carl Morgan (Lead Guitar), Andy Hall (Bass), and Jason Griffiths (Drums).
The band’s first EP, Clip Your Wings, was recorded at West Orange Studio in Preston, Lancashire, and was engineered, mixed and mastered by Alan Gregson of Cornershop fame (with assistance on mixing by James Stone). The EP was released on March 20th, available from digital stores, and a limited number of CDs is on sale at shows.
A single will be released in July 2013 with an accompanying video; the first album is underway and is planned for release in late Autumn 2013.
There have been some great reviews for this new blues orientated rock band (see Reviews page), and the band has recently been played on BBC Introducing.
